This is going to sound like a silly question, but are you sure the item exists in the modpack? If so, it may not have been ported across into Simply Jetpacks 2.

EDIT: Just checked on the Simply Jetpacks 2 curseforge, and it confirms in there that as the 1.10.2 port is still very much WIP, there is no recipe for it.

Not a bug.

i can confirm the item is there, there is just no current recipe for it

Yep, its basically not been fully implemented by the mod author yet in terms of the recipe (I think its some stage of the the capacitor bit he hasn't sorted out yet) so no recipe; I will say again though: not a bug.

This is not fully implemented yet, I am going to guess it will have an update soon to re add the Thermal Expansion variants
