I'd love to not have to keep 3 icons in that folder, vanilla for testing, multi MC for going on server and vechs maps, and FTB launcher for most of my play.

Well... maybe you can make it as a private pack? Since it's Vanilla you won't need any mods. Permissions will be easy! Just send FTB an empty mod folder and say here is my pack and here is the code I want! LOL (doubt they'd agree but still amusing)

Or rather, a better way would be to allow MultiMC to download and launch FTB packs using the ftb launcher as a middleman.
