CUSTOM 1.6 PACK CANNOT INSTALL THERMAL EXSPANSION

When I try to install cofh core 2.0.0.b8a
and thermal expansion 2.0.0.b8a

i put cofh core in core mods and thermal expansion in mods when i start mc it says thermal expansion needs minimum version 2.0.0.b8a which is what i installed


please help

put the cofh core into mod folder, not core mods and it should work.

i tried that to it does not work i launch it loads halfway then brings me back to my launcher screen

Many of the issues I've seen tonight have been related to the users game setup, so I'd like to rule that out as a possibility.

Which pack are you using? Are you only trying to add this one mod?

FTB Tech Support (and forums in general) is not the place to be requesting help for every launcher, and every mod.
If it's the Technic, AT or Magic Launchers, I know they each have their respective forums where you can ask for help.
