The launcher log appears to be missing some info. Such as Java version and such.

However I believe I may have the solution to your problems. How much RAM do you have on your computer? Try setting the Maximum RAM allocated to FTB to be less than 4GB. Try 2GB.

Please refer to the second link in my signature about log files.

Also, if you set your xmm to 4G, you should set your xms to 1G. It's good practice to keep your minimum to about 25% to 50% of your max to help keep your environment stable. It's not necessary on all machines, but greatly helps on others.

Are you running in Win 7 compatibility mode?
