Any and all tips are accepted! i haven't made it past getting a slab furnace because of the dumb tough spiders breaking in and killing me as well as the sync clone!

There are tons of youtube play throughs you can watch, but dig dust, build a doorway and oh don't forget to turn off creeper explosions.

When I played I just built 3-4/2 block high walls going around a 40 by 40 area with torches everywhere of course. It's awesome cause it's infinitely expandable.

* Fill and wear your camelpack. Ice Cold Water doesn't work with it, but the normal stuff does and will save a lot of effort.

* Get the wood for Tinker's Construct pattern, tool table, stencil table, and part builder, and make a bone mattock as soon as possible.

* Block off the engine spill. Not only is it directly dangerous, but the first creeper to walk into it will Ruin Your Day.

* Break the dark glass inside the ship, and use it to make a 2x3 'ceiling' outside the ship's caution-marked exit hatch, and make two 1x2 columns on each side of the door. Even if you can't make a ditch or a door in time, you can plant dust into the remaining gap overnight to make a safe spot.

* Start digging a two-deep and two-wide ditch around the caution-marked hatch exit. Might not finish this before the night starts, so head back in if it takes too long. Eventually will want to move this to three-deep.

* Shears will save your day.

* Build underground.

* Survivalist Generators help a lot, especially on the easy path.

Loosen your straps, put your head between your thighs and cover with your hands.

Make sure you've fitted the oxygen mask on to the old biddy next to you as apparently exploding grannies is the leading cause of crash injuries.

he just said crash landing tips, i've beaten the game twice and made a huge tropical resort(it took a bit of terraforming and a lot of dirt and stone) so i gave him a tip that helped me get to that point, auto cobble gen is 100% necessary ASAP, so you don't have to worry about it

I'll second Master Builder on that. Also note that I only use the "sleeping to skip night, so not hampered by monsters" until I get my sprider proof wall up and enough light around not to worry about it. If you continue to sleep and not work through the night it increases your water consumption dramatically. It's important to both work at night and below ground when possible.

There is cobblestone in the road to the left of your ship. Black cobblestone or something. It works as regular cobblestone if you need a furnace/slab, but not for much else. You can use bonemeal to make a bone pickaxe, and mine some of it on the first/second day.

I usually try to collect the clay, make a pickaxe to mine the black cobbles, and run straight to the 3 story building right on the edge of the city, kill the spawner and wall up the first floor. It makes scavenging the city a bit faster.
