Trying to do something very simple with crafty crates and for whatever reason it isn't working. I'm having coal essence being delivered to a barrel Bspaced to another barrel on a hopper, connected to a crafty crate with a doughnut pattern to make coal, then have that drop into another hopper on another crafty crate with no pattern or placeholders to be turned into blocks of coal to be outputted into a barrel. The unpatterned crate accepts the coal, but won't make the blocks. Whats going on?

Maybe you have to add a pattern for the 3x3 of coal; it may not "know" that's what you want to do with it.
it didnt like having the hopper right below it. the hopper was pulling the coal out of it before it could be turned into the block.
