I don't see a dedicated gpu, but it could possibly do alright. for minecraft.

If you have any desire to play anything else, especially newer games, you might consider adding a dedicated card.

Could this run all ftb modpack 30+ fps on med-high settings?

What video card? If you're planning on using on-board video beware as they cannot be guaranteed to work and steal between .5-1GB of system ram for it's own use. I'd suggest an eVGA card since they seem to have a good warranty if not outright free replacement.

Also, most FtB mods (except maybe Lite) seem to run smoother with 3-3.5 GB allocated ram so you probably want to go with a total of 8GB so Windows will remain happy and you'll avoid weird lag problems.

A 430 watt supply probably won't cut it in that system and an underpowered PS is almost guaranteed to take out every other component except the case if it blows (said from experience!)... Go with at least a 600watt so you can power a relatively decent video card.

I can't speak for Mindcrack but DireWolf20 runs just fine on my system. Other than brand differences, mine has an AMD FX-8350 (8-core, 4GHz) cpu, 8GB of DDR-3 ram, Cooler Master 800 watt Gold certified power, and an eVGA video card with nVidia 9600 GPU (so old it's probably not available any more :D).

You can never invest enough money into the motherboard, a cheap motherboard can make a dual core perform like a single core (that's speaking from my own experience btw). Below $50 is very cheap and I would personally pay even $25 more just to get a solid performing motherboard. Sounds like a waste when you want a better CPU or graphics card, but it's a big deal that I don't like to think of as a waste of money.

Not to nit-pick, but that PSU he has chosen will run the PC as configured, and a dedicated video card just fine. Amps are far more important than the wattage rating of a psu. The wattage ratings are generally taken at the wall, as a number for it's total consumption.

The PSU in this configuration has 32a on the 12v rail, which is fine for all but the most powerful GPU's, and still have enough juice left for the hdd's and such. Old but relevant link.

if Amps = Watts / Volts, then according to this link this particular card only requires 7.08 amps on the 12v rail, but at least a 300w rating at the wall (minus efficiency). I still would not recommend running it at the bare minimum.

OP, unless you are spending $250+ on your GPU, your current PSU is more than adequate. As for durability...I'm not so sure. I don't like Corsair myself. If you are iffy about it, I'd recommend a Seasonic such as this one.

That MoBo is kinda outdated
If the OP does not plan on upgrading to Broadwell when it is released, upgrading to a 9x series motherboard is almost pointless.

Honestly, the chipset does not necessarily make it the better option. It depend on the features and hardware on both motherboard in question, and whether or not the features on one board are worth giving up for the other. Even newer boards can be inferior to older hardware. :)
