The grinder won't kill them but I'd imagine you could rig "something" up. For the record the grinder won't kill iron golems either T_TBosses...too?
So, an automatic Hydra spawner/killer? I'd like to see someone make one of those.
Yea, they should make it so that bosses and stuff are more expensive mob essence-wise. How about vanilla bosses? Like the Enderdragon and wither? The grinder won't kill them but I'd imagine you could rig "something" up. For the record the grinder won't kill iron golems either T_T
Nope :\Yea, they should make it so that bosses and stuff are more expensive mob essence-wise. How about vanilla bosses? Like the Enderdragon and wither?
I want to make a Hydra spawner/killer. Can't it break blocks?Nope :\
No idea tbh. I have yet to engage in a TW forest boss fight and I have mob griefing turned off anyway.I want to make a Hydra spawner/killer. Can't it break blocks?
Yea I'm pretty sure they can damage the land. Not sure if they is any blocks that are 'Hydra-proof'. Maybe TC stone? Could be interesting.I want to make a Hydra spawner/killer. Can't it break blocks?
Go into creative and put a chunkloader in each of the 5 dimensions(Myst world, Nether, End, Overworld, TF) then restart. See if that helps.Ooh, best TF feature... difficult one. I haven't found a hydra yet, or a mystic grove, so I can't really say yet. So far, I'd say Hollow Hills, those things are scary. And my lag has become so bad recently that I think I'll steer clear of them from now on. Maybe I should destroy my main base chunkloader and see if that helps. Most useful so far is the Uncrafting Table.
It's an issue with memory leaking from one of the worlds and putting a chunkloader in each prevents that by always keeping them loaded rather than trying to load them. Why would putting more chunkloaders help with lag? I'd think that would make the lag worse, not better.
Yes. Any chunkloader should work. I would suggest doing it creatively though for simplicity since you'll need to go to the end.Oh, didn't know that. Cool. Can it be any chunkloader, like the spot loader that only loads 1 chunk?

I thought the problem had gone away last night. I made a Magic Map and found a large hollow hill, which I slapped a Filler on to slice the top off (completely draining two RECs in the process). I was clearing out the revealed loot and killing off the occasional ghost, when suddenly the problem came back. The game would pause for about a minute, and then I'd get about three seconds of normal activity followed by another pause. I stumbled over to linkbook back home and logged out since it was late anyway. The lag you're getting is probably from the trees in TF.
