Control options not all there

I'm playing along with DW20's Let's Play S9.

I notice that not all of the mods are listed in the Controls section. For instance, the Tome of Knowledge (Thermal Foundation) can collect one's XP - by default you do it manually, but it can be set to do it automatically, by pressing key "(NONE)" - obviously the relevant hotkey has not been set, and I would expect to be able to do it from an item in the Controls options - but no Thermal mods are listed in Controls, so I cannot set that hotkey.

Is this a config matter? Is there a setting in a config file that I could change so that Thermal's control options are displayed?

Many of the new FtB packs have a [Mods] button when you first start MC, before selecting single or multiple player. That button opens a list of all the mods in the pack, with [Configure] and [Disable] buttons at the bottom as well as a Search window if you know the pack name.

I checked there and none of the four Thermal mods have configurations available. Are you sure that feature is even included with Thermal (x) anymore? You might want to check the mod page directly.

The Thermal mods, along with a few others, are maintained by COFH. I believe the control settings are listed under COFH, rather than each mod alone. I'm not playing this pack currently, and I'm not at home to check, but try starting there. I remember there being an overarching toggle button for them in previous versions.
