Connection Lost Timed Out - FTB Infinity

Posted this is the tech support forum, but not sure that was the right place (nor here for that matter but worth a shot).

Details of the issue:
Friend has a server that I've been playing on. He had some performance issues with 1.2 so he upgraded to 1.3.4. Since the upgrade I'm getting Connection Lost Timed Out when I try to log in.

I've linked the pastebin log of exactly what shows up in the console.

Other players are not having issues logging in. I've tried running the game from the FTB launcher and Curse Launcher. In addition to this, I've upgraded from Java 7 to Java 8, changed my router settings back to factory and had my friend delete all my player data from the server.

I'm able to log into my own server (which is hosted by hosthorde, his is beastnode) and single player games no problem.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anybody have any ideas? I'm going to have the server admin create a test world tonight to see if there is something wrong with the world that's causing me issues.

There's a mismatch in mods between your client and the server.

Thank you. Where do you see that? I'm used to a list of mods that are different showing up when there is a mismatch.

Oh ok. I figured those were client side only mods. The only things we changed from the base pack were adding betterchests, magical crops, and aromacore's dimension world for mining.

Some may be but you'll have to check each one.

You stated that he updated the server. Did you update as well? If the mod versions don't match, it will also kick an error.

I got this, but every single mod was listed. I'm currently trying to figure this out.

I ran into this issue on 2 pc's connecting to my Infinity server. I'm running the latest version but I had to install Infinity and then 'force update' the Infinity install on both PC's. Basically, I installed it twice ... and then I stopped getting the timed out messages. Not sure what changed the 2nd time around or if the force update method does something a little different but that solved the issue for me ... I'm also running BetterStorage but also RogueLike and IguanaTweaks.
