Summary of the problem Compressed mobs do not "expand' in grinder

Pack Version 2.5.4

What is the bug? If a "Compressed" mob is killed by a player, then many (9?) uncompressed similar mobs are immediately spawned.

If a "Compressed" mob is killed by an MFR grinder block, no uncompressed mobs appear.

Is it repeatable? Yes 100%

Known Fix None for the mob farm case.

That is indeed the symptom. But is this "By Design" or a "Code Defect".

I am not sure if the Extra Utilities spikes may count as a player kill.

I'm pretty sure they do. At least the diamond ones I think.

I'm not really concerned about this, it's not a game breaking bug and even if it was a defect in the code I'm still not worried about it.

As the additional mobs can escape confinement by poping into existence outside the grinder, I call this a feature.
