Still no idea what caused that glitch (oh, as for why I seemed to suck at flying around, I remember my movement keys being affected by that bug as well )

It was back when I still used windows, happened on the curse launcher with a self made pack that previously ran fine.
It did so on each new world I created as well, to this day I have no idea what caused it only that I "fixed" it by using multimc instead

Probably platform-dependent Java arguments being weird then. Did it happen if you just used the Mojang launcher, without going through the Curse launcher first?

No idea, thing is though that it used to work fine and I didn't change anything when it suddenly broke....I didn't even install a program or had a windows update in between those times.
