What is the bug? If you right click to pick up placed climbing rope, you get twice as much back

Is it repeatable? Yes. (Place some climbing rope. Right click to pick it back up.)

Known Fix Haven't found one yet.

You can't right click to pick it up though? I'm confused on how you did this.

Sorry, left-click to break. ARgh. It's not doing it now. Last night when I'd break the rope, it would duplicate. If it happens again, I'll try to grab a video of it happening.

Yeah, both the dev and I aren't able to get this to happen.

I was just able to recreate this by vein mining the cobblestone I had the rope attached to.

Edit: I just tried again and couldn't get it to happen.
