Catching Forestry butterflies?

As the thread title says, how do you catch the things?

I've heard you use scoops, but all I've been able to do with them is kill butterflies.

Right click on them with the scoop. It can be quite finnicky at times and you'll often have to sort of click the block under them to actually get them

I've found that clicking on their shadow helps with killing them. I'll have to try right clicking then, thanks.
