Can't Plant Redwood saplings

So I got some redwood saplings and I'm trying to plant them around my base, but the wont plant at all. Is there some criteria for redwoods to be planted (must be in a certain biome?) or is this a bug I need to go report?

Are you planting 4 saplings in a 2x2 square? Sorry if it seems a basic question, but you didn't provide much information!

I'm not planting any of them...they won't actually plant.

That being said, I believe I'm trying to plant the 7x7 Redwood (the one from Natura) since that is what the information on the sapling says. (This is in 152ngt, I forgot to mention it)

I can't get them to plant either, which sucks because i like turning them into tree houses.

I'm pretty sure Natura redwood trees are planted in 9x9 patterns. At least that's how I grew the one I have now.

Could've sworn it was 7x7.

Why doesn't it plant though is a mystery to me.

Try somewhere else, try in a different biome perhaps.

Either way, the issue isn't how many do we need to plant. The issue is not be able to place ANY at all. I'm certainly not going to be able to plant a 9x9 grid of saplings if I can't plant the first 1.

the version of natura in the current 1.5.2 packs has a bug (they found it on forgecraft I think.) I believe it's fixed in the version being released in the v.7 pack.

Not sure if it was fixed, I'd have to load up my personal pack with the current release version to see.

Is there enough light around the saplings as that might not let them plant

I'm certain light isn't the problem since I'm planting at noon out side in an empty field. Honestly, I have a feeling if I update Natura like Eyamaz suggested then that will probably fix it.

I'm pretty sure this is what prevented the update that was supposed to come out today. Slowpoke posted on his twitter it was a matter of biomes and natura I believe. Don't quote me on this.

I hit a similar problem earlier in 0.5 with sakura saplings. After manually updating to the latest version of Natura the problem went away. Hopefully 0.7 will solve the problem.
