Cant log in, missing mods?

I've checked the help site as well as google for answers to this, but I cant connect to a server to due missing files apparently.

I played last night and it was fine, nothing had changed on my side or the servers, but when I came to play it today it tells me that 'mods and versions' cant be found, along with a list of the missing files that goes off the screen.

I tried force downloading it, and using the older update again but still no luck

ultimate update just dropped. make sure you have the correct version running on server side. Force downloading will update you to the latest. thus not allowing you to connect.

Is there a way to get the previous version ?

I'm starting to see this as a problem. I really hope FTB launcher 2.0 will make that more obvious
