Mac Can't join my favorite server without instantly crashing (mindcrack)

A month ago i sign up for a whitelisted server(a small one with a few people)
we are not accepting anymore people i was the second to join the server.
I have a well developed house with many machines and a couple portals from a portal gun up.
I have made a mess of the flux around my house and live with 1 other person.
I never crashed before i updated my mindcrack pack to 8.2.0 and now i can not join the server with out getting 1 frame a second then crashing within ten seconds. Well I don't crash its more like permanently frozen and then a black screen.
Thing I have tried:
-Deleted and then reinstalled mindcrack pack
-Asked other players on skype to travel around my house checking for problems
-Checked if the server was updated to 8.2.0
-Waited to see if it will unfreeze or do something after black screen
-Went on my other account to see if the problem will be at other server house
Things to try
-Buy a pc
-Smash my mac to bits
-Move to a forest and try to live minecraft irl style

One thing to try is tell someone to go in your house and remove any portal mod items, then test, if it still happens then tell them to remove other items from mods. (Maybe twilight next)

You said "portal" and it reminded me of a time that I placed a portal sentry in my house and when I TPd home my FPS was horrendous so I immediately ran downstairs and saw that my turret sentry model was looking very buggy and as soon as I could get a chance to destroy ity FPS returned to normal.

I doubt it would be the exact same as me but I say give it a try. I didn't catch anything in te paste bin other than a couple forestry errors.

Sorry to say but same problem as you guys I heard that it's a mac Os version issuethe only known to me version that woks is 10.7.3 with lion
