cant join a server Wrong update

when my friend is trying to join my server it tells him its the wrong update 1.3 he did try to reinstall all he's FTB stuff and it still wont work.

can anyone help?

What pack are you using?

Try to scroll over to the "Recommended" tab in the launcher. Bump it to whatever version you are using for the server.

its useing the same version as the server though thats the wierd part

Their might be some mods enabled on the server that your friend didnt enable
