Can't craft certain Items

Hi sorry if this is the wrong thread or has been posted already.

I can't craft certain items. I know it is in the table right because it shows up on the right. When I click on it, it goes in to my inventory but then goes back to the table. This has happened with the electric tree tap and solar panel. When I go into creative mode I can get the item fine. It is on a server with cubed host.

Mod pack?
You the owner, if not the owner may have disabled the recipe?
Did you add any mods (and since it's IC2 related did you add GT)?
Do you see a recipe, if not what recipe are you trying?

The mod pack is FTB mindcrack 8.1.1 GT on easy mode. I changed the config for easy mode. I am the owner of the server. The NEI recipe is the one i am using. Should I try to reboot the server?

Are both the server and client using the exact same recipes?

If a server has a different recipe set it will prevent you from crafting it, because your client says it is made like <this> but the server says it is made like <that>

Hi,
I did 2 things. I deleted chicken chunks because I was having leak issues. I also used the config from my computer and uploaded them to the server and it works.

That version of GT permanently overwrites vanilla IC2 electric tool recipes, there is no way to turn it off. Out of all the things you can't change with GT those tool recipes is one of them.
As for the solars, I'm not sure. Back in the day with the MindCrack GT got all the blame for making solars too hard but it turned out that it was a setting in advanced solars that was doing it.
