Cannot connect to Horizons server

Hi, I've been hosting a server (online-host) for a while and in the last couple of days I've run into a few problems.

First of all my friend connects, it loads to the point he sees the reticule onscreen but then minecraft crashes, he's been able to connect to my Horizons server for about 2 months no issues.

Second, when I tried to log on to help him with this, my client tells me I need the following mods:

MoCreatures 6.1.0
collasali_slenderman v3 [1.6.2]

Also my ingame server browser says my server is 0/2 when it is a 32 slot server :S

But I haven't changed my local files or updated the server, the server is currently running horizons 1.0.9.

I'm a bit confused why the server is suddenly asking for these files, having changed nothing. Any suggestions?

Contact your server host. If you haven't altered the pack, someone else has. Neither of those mods are in Horizons.
