You know, why not have several farms? a wheat farm/bee farm for honeyed slices, a cow farm for steak and leather, and a potato farm for general everyday use?

Didn't they nerf honeyed slices a while ago? So now they only restore 3 hunger? Thats no better than a baked spud.

Personally, I still like Steak. Of all the vanilla meats, it's the one which gives you the most hunger and saturation, plus it nets you extra leather, a nice plus for those using Mystcraft.

Im with ya! Nothing beats a good steak. Run around the pen with fire aspect on your sword = Cooked beef and leather, and fun to boot

With the recent updates to Minefactory Reloaded I don't even have a pen. Just a autospawner and a system to move cows to my grinder. I get a single reusable safari net and catch a cow. After that I set up a autospawner and pipe in mob essence from a soul shard based mob farm.
