Unsupported Can anyone make sense of this log?

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title Can anyone make sense of this log?

Launcher Type

Modpack FTB Infinity Evolved + extra mods

Modpack version

Have you modified the pack? Yes

Details of the issue This is just the console log as it doesn't seem to be generating a crash log for some reason (or I can't find it). I have a small modpack that runs fine and I wanted to combine the mods in my pack with Infinity Evolved. I know simply combining mods willy-nilly like that doesn't usually work so I was expecting it to crash and have to read the log to find the problem mods, but this log doesn't seem to make any reference to any specific mod, just a bunch of Java exceptions. It crashes before it even opens the loading screen. Both my pack and infinity start up and run without problem.

I tried installing Infinity then copying its mods into my pack without replacing any files as well as trying to copy the mods from my pack into a fresh install of Infinity. Both resulted in perfectly identical console logs when they crashed (or at least identical for as much as I can see in fullscreen at both the beginning and end).

Windows 7 x64, I have the latest version of Java, and I am not running the Nvidia driver version listed in the stickied post.

Could be almost anything, but prime suspect is sponge. If there was a full list of mods in the log it might be possible to make a more educated guess, but that is all it is, guesswork.

So I started writing a reply about spongepowered not being in the modpack and I was gonna write up a mod list... but as I wrote the mod list I realized several mods were duplicated in different versions. Obvious in hindsight. This is why I shouldn't do this kind of stuff at 3 in the morning. Deleted all the duplicates, preferring new versions over old ones, and it's loading happily now. So I guess thanks for your help lol :)
