Closed questions like this:

Show up when you click unanswered questions.
Also, there is no option to uncheck the email notifications checkbox automatically.

Also, I just got this error when I tried to do the email confirmation thing:

Also, you might want to tell the users that it is an Q&A board, and not a normal forum.

Getting that error while trying to confirm my e-mail address for the site; makes it impossible to flag dumb answers that are either trolling or are actually just other people going "me too" instead of helping.
 
Those issues will fix when we enable single signon with the forums, and i'll have to look into fixing the closed questions bug
