Broke my turtle

I kind of broke my turtle. I set up a program to lay track for me, and set it to run as startup. Unfortunately, I know just enough to be dangerous, and now I can't stop the turtle from doing anything, because it Terminates the program, then runs start up which fires the program....

Can anyone help? Also, since it's labeled, breaking it won't do any good. It's the first turtle I programmed so I'm a little loathe to let it go free, but if that's what I need to do....

Yeah. I hit CTRL+T, I get the message Terminated, and it resumes searching it's slots for items. I don't even get the command prompt.

set a diskdrive next to the turtle (on a side without peripheral) with a disk which has an empty startup and restart the turtle

turtles prefer the disk's startup over the their own startup

Cool thanks. I was going to see if I could wrap the turtle as a peripheral to a computer and delete startup that way. Glad there's another option though. Thanks.

Hooray! Thanks for the help. Builder Bob is now back in the fold. :D
