Breeding butterflies

Is there a way to breed butterflies in the 152WGT Pack version 0.5 i know you can analyse them and store them but is there a way to actually breed them or evan do anything else with them yet ?

There actually is a legit way to breed butterflies in 2.2.6.x/2.2.8.x.

I just don't 'advertise' it, since it's largely untested apart from the few times I played around with it.

Well I shut mine in an enclosed space but they just all died relatively quickly so that's not it.

Time to research how butterflies mate in the wild, and try that in minecraft
