Blaze Rods & UU Matter

I am going to start by apologizing if there is already a discussion on this but I couldn't find it. I blame my kids... (not sure why, but hey, whatever! They thought it was funny).

Anywho,
I noticed with the Unleashed Pack that the recipe for Blaze Rods and Ender Pearls, per the Wiki pages I have seen, do not work. Now, in the NEI I see a new recipe for Ender Pearls, but no replacement for Blaze Rods. Now, I am perfectly capable of going into the nether and getting them but I just wanted to know if there a "lost" replacement recipe or is it true you just can't make them? Or, by some luck, is there a config somewhere I can set to turn it back on? We have a couple of people on our server that want to make them using UU matter, so I thought I would ask the community.

So, community, what are my options here? Just go hunt, or what?

What's the recipe? And which wiki? Some of them are outdated.

The recipient for the blaze rods is:
u - u

For Ender Pearls, the Wikis always show the following:

u u u

but the current NEI shows (and only works in Unleashed) as:
u u u
u - u
- u -

So yeah, if there is a new one (i even unhid all the other recipes using the config) I'd love to know it! Or just tell me where to go...
Oh and before someone says to use the EEC trick, that is also gone from Unleashed. I think b/c of no GregTech but what do I know...

Yeah, and blaze rods from EE3 are gone as well. You can snag blaze powder from Cinderpearls from TC3 though. No idea about rods though. Tinker's Bows?

I thought that the blaze rod UU matter recipe was added by gregtech. Unleashed doesn't have gregtech. Feel free to ignore this if I'm wrong

This was removed to stop infinite blaze rod creation. I expect it will be back in when dynemc is implemented into EE3
