Best server host?

If a host doesn't list cpu speed they are hiding something. And if you email them and they don't tell you DON'T use them, they are hiding something. Same thing with internet speed NOT bandwidth.

I agree, I admit it's deceiving but I sort of want to give them the benefit of the doubt since it's a new location. But they do have the specs in the FAQ. At least give me an asterisk on the fancy spec sheet so I know to look closer. I really hope the server will hold 30-40 fine until we can upgrade to a dedi. Mindcrack was pretty trivial to host but we're new to Unleashed so only time will tell. Bungee might be able to hold us over.

That may be true but I haven't experienced any attacks of my own and I have had thousands join my server. And a server with CPU speeds less then 3.8ghz will have a hard time with ftb (large world and players add to it a lot as well) but also don't overlook ram, if you plan on running a ftb server for a long time get a lot of it, takes over 9GB of ram just to start my server.

yea like the obvious other craps as well "unmetered bandwith/diskspace" is turd as well. Often time you'll find either a solid limit or "you can have all it as long you let the other customers don't suffer from your usage".
