Besides Applied Energistics, is there anyway to autocraft with Agrarian Skies?

But wouldn't the explosion destroy blocks in AS once he does his thing? Would obsidian work in that case to war off the exlposions? As for your build I see what it does, or rather how it does it, but having trouble piecing together how to build it.

They are the Septuple compressed cobble from XU, so no, he cannot break it. And this isn't my build. The obsidian should be fine. I generally kill my first wither using a similar build in the nether using the bedrock ceiling, so I make a warded room using TC's warding wand focus.

Before it gets asked, the following video details the very simple build I use to kill the wither using the nether ceiling. Note that if you do it wrong, you can end up with the wither on top of that ceiling meaning that you will need a server OP or switch to Peaceful to kill it.

In my normal world I use the warded blocks myself, but not quite ready for Thaumcraft yet in AS. I'll look into the compressed cobble .... but dayum, that's a lot of cobblestone

You need to make a ton of cobble anyways for the later quests.

True, but you have to submit it don't ya? So can septuple really be an effective long term solution? Less there is something I am missing here?

I did try obsidian, it doesn't work. It survives the initial explosion, but when the wither goes apeshit on everything it gets taken down fast.

When you originally mentioned using obsidian, I assumed you meant for the room surrounding it. The suffocation blocks need to be warded, bedrock, or septuple compressed cobble. Anything other than those 3 will be destroyed.

Nope. That's where the nether ceiling comes into play. It is made of bedrock. Watch the video.
