BC robots in general

So basically I will post questions about robots and you all will answer them

First when I am configuring the gates t try to set them all to wake up when at full power and it only does it on one gate and then it doesn't on others. I have it set up so one pipe branches into a T at the top 1 side docking stations other side quartz or gates

Secondly does the robot's docking station have to be in the work area for it to work

Third, does anyone think the bc robots are too expensive
