Back in my day there was no hearts, only brains to love people with.
Just noting that David didn't kill Goliath with a slingshot, it was with a sling. Different things. I like to tell people that in case they didn't know.

Well, back in my day, the universe was not even a mere thought. Things just were. You kids with your bangs and whatnot...
 
Things just were? Why, back in my day, we didn't have any of this newfangled "being." We could barely afford to have things that weren't!
 
Back in my day, crazy kids didn't have no time to dream! We worked from sunup to sundown, uphill both ways!
