Automating Gregtech

Is there a trick to feeding stuff into things like the Centrifuge where specific items need to go into specific slots? I've tried putting pipes and AE Import Bus on all sides and haven't had any luck getting things to go exactly where I want.

Have you tried using filters to pull out specific items?

I don't know if filters work on centrifuges, and I'm not sure if it'll help your problem, but you may want to give it a shot.

Main input is top -- put centrifuge material in top.

Empty cells input through the bottom.

All other sides can be used to export items. All the centrifuge outputs are available to all sides, so you just need to pull the items out from any side.

Items to centrifuge in the top.

Cans in the bottom.

Output on the sides.
