Automate synthesizer and purifier?

Is it possible to automate the bee-machines like synthesizer and purifier or does it have to be manual work ? :(

Fairly sure I saw Dire automate bee genetics back in his 4th SMP series. Not sure if he managed to automate those two machines but he did get some of them on full auto.

Yep, some of the latest versions add BC gate conditionals that make it possible to automate them


I was trying with an autarcihc gate but that could only show me if there is item in inventory. I need the gate to empty inventory on the synthesizer when the vial is full.

Which version of Binnie's mods are you running? The triggers were added in version 1.7.1
I know that Unleashed 1.1.3 contains version 1.7.2, don't know what earlier versions of the pack have, nor do I know what pack you're using (if you are using a FTB pack)

Direwolf20 also demonstrates how to use the gate triggers in episode 66 of his SMP season 5 series

Doesn't appear to, just tested it myself and they're definitely there for me with just the basic autarchic gate, they should be the last batch of conditions when the gate is next to the machine

Even in those versions that didn't have gate conditionals you could automate them with a help from TE using energy cells and energy/tank full conditionals (they are added by TE IIRC). Just supply the machines with a little bit less energy then they should get, so you know that if machine is full of energy, bee dna and has item in inventory that it finished work.

Also, AE has precise formatting options which should allow you to detect quality of serum. I have not used AE with extraBees myself, but it is always worth looking into.

This is how I set mine up. I put empty serum vials in the chest on the left, & get full, purified serum vials in the chest on the right. [I pulled my genepool out of the line to show the pipe connection on the right.]

I'm playing Unleashed 1.1.4. Here is a brief video cycling through all the gate conditionals I see when I put a gate on a synthesizer.

[DOUBLEPOST=1379118799][/DOUBLEPOST]I just discovered you can right-click to cycle backwards through the gate conditionals.

Check which version of binnie's mods is listed when you click edit mod pack. If it says 1.7.1 or higher, then the conditionals should be there

Ah, ok, then yes, you will want to update to get the gate conditionals. I must have manually updated mine to 1.7.2 when I was playing unleashed
