If its to get a decent amount of rubber just use the treefarm+Logger+auto treetap setup
chuck in a few MJ/ humus and you will get around 15K rubber in 24 hours.
I took mine down after a couple of days as its too efficient

Then I was playing around and set up a slime farm... slime farms are amazing for rubber production - if you can get 65 levels of xp then I would go that route
