Is there a better way than this:

To use ME to automate making diamonds for me.... specifically to use any and all coal in the network to turn into diamonds? Even more specifically to pull out of that bloody ME interface? And no I dont have the lasergatemakerthingymewasit just yet so I am using a redstone engine....

Basically, is there a way for me to say any coal gets turned into diamonds... if I can get rid of that middle ME interface and just build it in, that would fit my OCD.

Well, this was already answered, but I would highly recommend not to turn all your coal into diamonds. That's a full stack you're losing there, per diamond. You've got rubies+sapphires for Energy/Lap crystals (G-Tech only), Gem turtles for mining, and coal is so useful for so many things. Of course, it's your choice, and you'd be fine with turning it all into whatever you want. But I'd recommend not to turn it ALL into diamonds, make them on demand. Need 3 diamonds? Make them from coal manually because, eventually, you won't need diamonds.

Well, you won't need too much coal either by that time, but...still :P

Coal and diamonds are both renewable, with bees. How bees make diamonds I'll never understand, but it sure is handy :p
How do I research and make an iron golem?
Have you started with Thaumcraft yet?

4 Iron Blocks and put a Pumpkin on top. No need for researching anything.

[M] [M] [M]
[ ] [M] [ ]

(I'm using M for iron blocks because B and I are BBCode.)
I believe he means Thaumcraft 3 iron golem guardians, not vanilla golems.

That didn't teach me how to make the iron golem construct ;p
Well I was kind of wondering if you had a research table and all that yet. If not, watch this -
From there, you just have to research, what you get is somewhat random. ONce you've learned something, the Thauminomicon will tell you how to make it.

That's the same video?

I have a question. if I have a setup of an MFE, some lower voltage machines, and some medium voltage machines, powered by a MV-Solar array,

1.) Can I use glass fibre cables to power both the lower and medium voltage things without using transformer/upgrades?
2.) If I upgrade my array to an HV solar array, can I use glass fibre cables going into the MFE, or will it explode?

Thanks~

You'll have to use transformers, and you'll want to upgrade your MFE/put a Transformer. And if you have gregtech, don't take any chances whatsoever.

Transformers before the MFE or after it, or both? So the glass fibre cables can take anything under 512, but they won't act as a transformer and will still explode?
And I disable all nerfs of Gregtech, I only keep the added machines.

The MFE can take at most 128. The HV array outputs 512. Not sure where the difficult part is ;)

What the cable can bear ultimately doesn't matter. If the HV array sends a packet to the MFE, it detonates. Period. And if the cable can't take it, it will melt away, but it won't keep the packet from reaching the MFE.

Besides, if the cables acted as transformers, why would the mod have transformer blocks for you to build...?

Sorry. I just thought that since they take diamonds and everything, they wouldn't require a transformer.

Thanks for the help.

Yes, I can see a pixel sticking out on the right side, and the arms sticking out make you look like a shoop with a little bit too much grass on his hands.

well you know with that unlimited UU mater super mega solar farm everyone and there uncle are supped to build as 'the only true way' to play with IC2/GT I have access to barrels and barrels of grass.

Oh yeah, I can tell.[DOUBLEPOST=1364339902][/DOUBLEPOST]Got a fat face, too.

sup, just wondering, what block does one use to make a xycraft tank? i see shields, blocks, engineering blocks.... wtf?
