Aura generation is based on the amount of "nature" about. More nature more aura nodes, and bigger aura nodes
So from my understanding of that, you'd want a jungle or forest biome

I'm not sure how BoP biomes handle spawning aura nodes, I'm sure they're around but I don't know if there's a distribution difference


Well that's actually why I'm asking to see if anyone actually knows since Biomes O' Plenty makes vanilla biomes a bit uncommon. There are certain BoP biomes that spawn a high amount of greatwood trees so I would assume they would produce a higher aura.

After a little research I did find that the enchanted forest in Twilight Forest does have an extremely high aura, higher than any vanilla biome or at least according to the chart I found (which didn't include any biomes from BoP). It would make sense since a large amount of silverwood trees tend to spawn there. I've decided to make my base there but once I unlock ze goggles of revealing, I'm gonna go around and see what biomes produce the highest auras and possibly record my results. :p

Mystcraft question. I already know how to set up everything but I want to make a specific biome and needed some help. I want a very high sky biome. It could honestly be any sort of biome but I want it to be near the top of the world. I wanna make it some giant windmill powered world. Now Im unsure how biome modifiers work. Skyland says it carves away biomes so theyre seperate and what not with jagged bottoms. Cool. But does it raise the height of the world so its actually in the sky? Or is it just sort of a ground level world with no bottom?Is there a biome that spawns really freaking high that I could combine with skyland? I honestly dont wanna nerd pole all the way to height 100 or 200 or whatever is max and build from there. Id rather have something that high that I can then build on.

Does anyone know exactly how I can mass place Warded Stone in Direwolf20? I was thinking turtles, but I've heard that there are issues with the stone being subsequently unbreakable; used to be that turtles with wands could break them, but no longer. Could anyone confirm?

(Planning a radius 40 hemisphere. Hand placing is a painful option.)

I'm interested in possibly hosting an FTB server. However I don't really know anything about doing so, lol. I've hosted a simple little one for me and my friends, but nothing that had any extra mods or banned items or anything like that. I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me a link to something along the line of "How to Host an FTB Server for Dummies" kind of a thing. I'm quite computer savy, but I don't know how to do any coding or anything like that, if it matters.

In unleashed 1.1.4, I'm using a 3x5x4 orchard with about 34 lemon trees to bolster my fruit juice/ mulch production, but it doesn't seem to produce many lemons. I've bred the trees to have the high yield trait active, but that didn't seem to help. Is there a better tree for this or should I be breeding for a different trait like size or maturity?

What other tools can be used to help automate building large structrues? I use a Filler, and have used turtles a little bit, is there anything else? Is there some sort of program that allows more of a creative mode, to create blocks? i saw a video where guys were making huge rings, and the words '480 blocks created' appeared when the ring appeared... assuming this is some sort of program that just makes huge structures automatically?

How do I analyse bees while in my AE system, IE, not with the handheld 'bealyzer'
There's a block form of the Beealyzer, which allows importing and exporting from the AE system

So if you ran fuzzy buses into it you may get it to work
not sure how you'd set those up exactly to get unidentified ones exported and identified ones staying in
