Are Chisel's Buggy? (FTB Unleashed)

I'm trying to make fancy netherrack brick.

However the chisel won't make the Netherrack into brick, so I can't see if the netherrack brick would be turned into fancy brick.

I've tried this with: A stone Chisel, and a Alumite Chisel.

By bricks I meant Netherbricks, the ones that are crafted into Netherbrick.
E: You could also use it for research, much more efficient than coal for ignis.

have they fixed the problem where you can eat your chisel?
if not i would say yes their buggy.

Telling someone to "Pay attention to what I'm asking for" seems rude when someone is giving suggestions when you ask a question, but it might be that I'm having a crap night, so I'm not in the mood to get into an argument over it, nor is it necessary.
