As the title says, I need help. I have a massive ME system that has a bug that annoys me so much. Whenever I order my system to make an expensive items, for example Quantum Gear or a ton of advanced alloy, a recipe either stops working or the system freezes on me and I have to restart the crafting. When a recipe stops working I mean this: I cannot craft this item without encoding a new pattern. This normally happens with raw items. For example, I have my system convert UU-Matter into copper dust to use or I have the system convert UU-Matter into Iron ore then have it smelted for use. For some reason if I have them get crafted with a larger project, it breaks. I cancel the large project then try to craft the Copper dust or iron ingot by themselves but it won't craft at all unless I encode a new pattern for it. The freezing problem normally happens when I'm working on something huge. It will just stop the creation of the item even if I have the items I need encoded for auto-creation. It doesn't even say I have an missing item, it just stops and I have to restart it. I have enough power to supply the whole system with what it needs. My assembler has 382 cores and 128 storage pages. Can I get any help?

Hope that helps solve the problem.

Every time your system gets a redstone signal from a level emitter, gets a block broken, or gets a block placed, the system resets.
You cannot have multiple recipes for an item.
EDIT: So you can't say *use UU for copper dust* and *use macerator on copper for copper dust*

Is this documented anywhere? I find this functionality kinda silly, but I could understand why they decided to do it this way.

Ahhhh, that may explain why my autocrafting keeps stopping, a lot of my stuff (farms etc) is level controlled using emitters and batch autocrafting keeps stopping after a few items. Do you know if this is by design or a bug?

I don't have multiple ways of getting an item. It's all straight forward. Also I have no level emitters.

Right clicking an ME interface (containing recipes for crafting) with a power tool (MPS) will rotate it, which may not be visible, and then crafting will not work even though the items still show up in the ME system.

I know this probably isn't the problem in this case, but I had to mention it just in case since it took me a while to find. :)

Actually it doesn't. Because it's not true. Signals to level emitters do not interrupt crafting jobs. And indeed, it's hard to imagine how that could be the case since the export bus has an "always craft" deal.

At least, not in 1.5.2
