Hello. Iam trying to setup automatic farming station from ender io with Applied energistic 2.
My problem is i want my network to send a new axe when the axe gets broken. I get that to work. But i want the system to keep 5 axe crafted and stocked at all time in my network.
How can i do this?

There are a few methods. You could use another mods auto crafting and use redstone emmiters to disable the crafter when you have > 5 axes. You then just supply the crafter with the sticks and stone.
You can also use an interface with a crafting card and fill 5 of its slots with the axes. You will need to use 5 individual slots as axes don't stack. You can even access what's in the interface if you have a storage bus facing it.
My last EIO treefarm setup involved using only one channel and that was to hold and supply the wood. As I mostly used EIO piping.
I used 3 TE auto crafters; one being fed wood for planks, planks automatically ejected to another crafter to create sticks which auto ejected in to the last crafter to make the axe. I didn't bother having AE supply stone so I just whacked a ExtUtils cobble gen to it.
This was before I knew about RF tools auto crafters that can do the job of 3 of those TE crafters in one.

I mean you could do it purely with AE2 but I have found auto stocking crafting card interfaces to be mighty unreliable.
I only ever use it to supply things and for on demand crafting.

AE level emitter with an AE molecular assembler with an axe pattern would do too.
Might need to elaborate here.
I know Molecular Assemblers can autocraft by themselves if you insert the materials. But you'd still need to use a couple channels for an import and export bus and the level emmiter.
Wait I forget, do level emmiters use a channel?

They do, as do buses, interfaces, and everything else that directly interacts with your storage. Did last time I checked, at least; I see no reason why it would've changed.

The molecular assemblers themselves, on the other hand, do not use a channel. This is understandable, since they don't actually pull items out of your network or put them back in- the interfaces usually attached to them handle all that.

Yes, they do.

Basically just place an Interface, set it to store 5 axes, add a crafting card, link the interface back to your ME system, and add the recipes to your Assembler.

Put a Hopper on the farming station. Put an Export bus with crafting cart onto the Hopper. Now there is always axes in backup while it crafts, and you don't waste a bunch of channels. Done.

Don't forget that EnderIO cables can extract and insert at the same time. Filter extraction from the interface as axes only. Piece of cake.
