Any way to use the controller mod?

If I install the mod FTB just updates and gets rid of it. I was trying with my friend yesterday to get it working to no avail

We're trying to set up dual screen from one computer. It works on vanilla MC, one of us uses controller where as the other uses M+KB and we connect to local server

This would be great if at all possible in FTB

I don't really know anything about this particular mod, but if FTB asks to update, just click "no" =)

It doesn't ask to update it just does it

it does and doesn't.
When the launcher detects a new recommended a small popup will come with the question if you want to update. Like normal 90% off the people don't read popups or warnings and just press Yes. Then the launcher does indeed update.

What you can do is press the V next to recommended and select the version you where playing on. This version wil not be updated. So even when new versions get added to the launcher the old onces stay inthere and you can keep playing that version.
