Hi,

So I'm playing on a server and it's getting kinda annoying to travel distances even with a gravi chestplate on and I thought why not find a way to teleport to the the desired places. So I first thought of setting portal spawners because I like the idea of having private portals that can be only used by me but the problem is that you can only set two "private" teleporters which are the bacon and potato guns. Another way to teleport are the IC2 teleporters, but they have two drawbacks: you can't set them to be private and they require energy, and even though I have plenty of energy in my base, the other places I want to go to don't necessarily do. And… that's, as far as I know, the only ways to teleport in FTB (I'm using Ultimate). Do you guys know any other convenient means to teleport ?

Mystcraft linking books.

You don't need to make a mystcraft age, just go to the nether and use that to act as a go-between.

Or if you want to be extravagant. Ic2 teleporters, you can make gregtech interdimensional storage units to place under them (which all share power) or power converters and energy tesseract if you want to use mj surround them with thaumcraft warded blocks, with an arcane door set to you only to make it private :)

I'd prob just make a private mystcraft nexus myself though.

Forgot to mention that we removed GregTech from our pack, but the private myscraft nexus sounds cool, thanks !

As Fuzzle said. Nothing beats how handy linking books are. Myself, i like to create a twilight void age with a small, fancy platform to stick em on, so that you have a nexus to all the locations you frequent.
