I'm playing on a server and I am planning on running a BC Quarry connected to an Ender Chest in the Twighlight Forest. Are there any world corrupting problems that may pop up?

BTW, I'm looking for people that may want to join my server with me and a friend of mine. Only mature, age 25 and over please. We are using the Mindcrack Pack.

There shouldn't be any corruption problems, but to be sure, I'd recommend to dig down a little, just to see if there is any Twilight dungeons. If there are chests down there, you don't want the quarry breaking them and losing any items, because the loot down there (including maze map focuses and charms of keeping) is quite useful. I am not sure how the quarry interacts with the labyrinth blocks, but I know there's bedrock around those areas behind the walls and floors. It may skip the bedrock, it may get stuck, I am not sure. If you want to be safe, check where you're quarrying so you don't hit a labyrinth.

I would recommend to mine on a hollow hill. I have found good loot and bad loot in the "empty" hills, but what there are lots of ore stalactites hanging from the ceiling. If you want the loot and the spawners (creeper spawners have been known to exist), raid it, don't go out of your way to mine the ores, and quarry out the whole place when you've finished.

Every time I've tried to quarry the Twilight Forest, I've found that when I have restarted my server, the chunk that the quarry is placed in will revert to the original state of the chunk. I've got a few other mods loaded, so it may just be some strangeness like that. Either way, though, I'd say test it before you decide to stick with it by setting it up, and then restarting the server.

Good luck!

After an update a while back the quarry now picks up items on the ground so if it breaks a chest it gets everything in the chest.

Also if it hits any bedrock it will simply mine around the bedrock but not below so if it is fairly high up bedrock you will just have a pillar.

Oh, thank you, I wasn't aware :).

So if the labyrinth exists at level 30, and there is a hallway with bedrock, it will mine out the hallway, but not under it. Those results could be cool, just a bedrock maze high up in a large quarry ditch. The blocks they have are hard to mine, and I think they look quite cool. Unfortunately, I can't make a single player world to test this out, for some reason I can only play multiplayer.

Wait, what do you mean you can't play single player? Computer says no?

Wild guess: Stuck on "Building Terrain"? Try upgrading Optifine to C3 or later.

Computers with marginal performance can get quite a decent framerate when playing SMP instead of SSP. So computer might indeed be saying: (voice=shodan) Nooooo. please s-stop hu-human. Y-you are h-hu-hurting meeeee. (/voice)
