Any Alternatives to using RP2 Deployers/breakers?

This thread pretty much is an RP2 argument thread. Why else couldn't TomT just use deployers/block breakers
I can and did see below. I also made a Steve's Carts wheat farm. I'm looking for another way to get the same result, this time without Red Power. See?

For pumpkins/melons a single MFFS forcefield projector can harvest entire rows at a time. Project settings: Wall mode, strength upgrades = length of the row, and a force matrix to left/right to harvest 2 rows at time (assume melon/pumpkin on 2 outer rows and harvestables on 2 inner rows). A chest next to the projecter will let you keep what the block breaker destroys.

Doesn't work well with tilled farmables as the forcefield reverts tilled land back to dirt.

Probably be good for mushroom farms as well. If anyone farms those. They work in a bio-reactor, so might be worth it for 2 unique types :p

It is not our business to ask. He doesn't want to. This doesn't mean he's part of the Grand Conspiracy To Fight Your Favorite Mod. Maybe they cause lag for them? Maybe they're impractical at the scale he wants to reach? Maybe he hasn't invested in that tech tree yet? Maybe he wants to save on materials?

Who cares? You're contributing nothing, and we both know that you're capable of more. It is okay to not use RP2, just like you're demanding it is okay to use RP2.
Well fair enough. I sorta didn't really think about it much because i have seen so many of these kinda threads pop up. And I don't know if you can tell but all of this RP talk has been stressing me out a bit :p
