A much has I love having a non-moving ghast in my wall to say me "Hi" every morning, the hats mod is pretty much useless...don't forget iichun with his hats mod
IMO purely aesthetic mods are also good mods for minecraft, since in the end you want to have fun playing minecraft
Yeah, that's the thing, it's not even aesthetic.
Also, it gets really old really fast. It's a fad, what can I say.

but I do agree it gets a bit old really fast. it'd be nice if there was a bit of a different mechanic to it, maybe with giving certain buffs or extra's when wearing certain hats.
Yeah, or if you actually had to collect them.
Sorta like achievements, just more stable, probably actual achievements as well.

it's also very irritating to see every. single.. mob... with hats!! I would rather see just a few mobs have hats, and that the harder to fight mobs, have the more rarer hats.
it'd also be nice if you could share your collected hats with others, and if the hats would have certain stats or buffs or whatever, you could trade them with others like trading cards or something lol

Hats r awsum! sure i actually like the mod, but ichin is da best moder evar becuz direwolf hat and trollface lulz! lulz! its funny because i no wat trolface is! le lulz kewl!
however, the crafting floor has a downside, if you are making something like cake, you don't get the empty buckets back. just sayin'.
