is dating sim and eroge are the same? i though dating sim is when, you know, it sims dates, not necessarily with sex scenes. and eroge when pornography is the main part.

i've made an assumption that its a dating sim, knowing the setup "bunch of girls and random dude" and you saying it having routes. so given the setup, the ultimate goal for dude to end up with a girl. which is what a dating sim technically is. was i wrong in that assumption?

Its not the "goal", but thats how the story always proceeds as you progress, independantly from you except choosing said "path".
Another note is that the protagonist have his own personality, past and thoughts. You're just observing the story. Nothing more.
What you control is which part of the story is told to you first (that is, who of the characters the protagonist end up with and their story together).
As a matter of that fact, you can pick a different storyline as you "finish" one.

I don't care if anyone cares, but i have to say this.
I've just 100% the VN, finishing the 5th and last route. The end of said route was so heartwarming.
Yuuji (protagonist) at left, Yumiko at right and Yumo (their daughter).

Heh. Whats wrong of being acknowledged as a member of the female population.

and ljfa, for sure, but "guys" still have a strong sense of being a term used solely for males. it was just a joke.

maybe next time i should try a more gender neutral approach like "people" or so.
