I had an idea.
We'd have two teams (probably with two people on each) on a server, and the teams will try to kill each-other. Each player gets 3 respawns due to enemy action (accidental/mob deaths don't count)- after that, that player is out of the game (but his teammate/s can keep fighting).
In the beginning, the teams will split up into two of eight stable Mystcraft ages, one for each team. They will then have one hour in creative mode to begin building; after that time, everything is legit (so the first thing you're going to want to build is resource generation). Each team will try to find the enemy, and while doing so they will also want to build up their defenses for when the enemy finds them.
Once the teams find each-other, the real fight begins. This is probably going to be the shortest part, unless one team invests heavily in defenses. Once all the members of one team are out, the team left standing is the winner.
I'm thinking of a custom modpack for this, with the basics (that is, BC/IC2/RP, probably Thermal Expansion, Thaumcraft, etc... as well), ICBM (and the UE mods needed to support it) and maybe some other stuff.
Would anyone be interested in being part of this, or even watching it? Any suggestions on what mods should be included?
