AM2 neutral nexus automation help

I am trying & failing to automate the placing of liquid essence source blocks under my neutral nexus in the current DW20 modpack.

If there is a replacement in this pack for the RP2 grates, I can't find it.

Vanilla dispensers drop liquid essence buckets instead of placing the source block like they do with water & lava.

Vanilla dispensers drop florbs instead of throwing them like they do with snowballs, etc.

The tool dynamism tablet from thaumic tinkerer: I can get this to place a phantom source block in the world, but not actually empty the bucket (it will empty the bucket into a tank). If I do this directly under the center of the nexus, it will interact to continuously charge the nexus without using up the block, but this seems to be a phantom charge as I can't get it to transfer into a mana battery.

Is there anything else I can try?

In the meantime, I guess I need to find a Mystcraft age with crystals so I can drop endermen into my dark nexus.

Buildcraft Flood Gate. Pump a liquid into it and it will spill out from all the side faces. Make sure you put a block on the sides where you don't want it to come out of.

(Also, if you want to shoot florbs, use the autonomous activator)

And if you're just wanting some way of making neutral essence I would just use the mana battery because it automatically converts light or dark essence into neutral essence, but if you wish to use the neutral nexus floodgate is definitely the way to go

Thank you! The floodgate was exactly what I wanted in the 1st place. Setting it up so everything worked right & still looked reasonably good with the open blocks tanks took some fiddling, but here it is.
