I cannot fathom as to what you're doing to achieve that..One part of my base uses 800 MJ/t, 24/7.
Are you sure it's not 800 Units/t?
(which is still quite a lot)

Right now my tree farm is sitting inactive because I can't find an MJ sink.
160 combustion engines running off of biofuel produces 800 MJ/t. This is fed into 32 magma crucibles @ 25 MJ/t ea.
240000 MJ to melt one piece of cobble into lava. @ 25 MJ/t, that's 9600 tick or 480s per bucket of lava. 32 magma crucibles running @ 25 MJ/t ea. produces 32 buckets of lava every 480s or a bucket of lava every 15s. A bucket of lava is worth 30 000 EU in a thermal generator, so in essence I am producing 2000 EU/t.
edit: I also plan to add 80 more engines, 16 more magma crucibles and eventually finding a way to generate self-generated renewable netherrack by converting cobble. This should double my rates from 2000 EU/t + 1000 EU/t (new additions) into 6000 EU/t.
