Admin Mods

Hey, I was just wondering if there are any plans to release a version of the modpack with mods such as Essentials, or Worldguard. I'm running a server but it's really difficult to moderate because you cannot protect people from griefers or thieves.

My understanding is that most of those types of mods don't exist currently for Forge. However, several are in the works, and when they are available and ready for prime time, we would be very interested in them.

Fihgu's mod (link in earlier post) and SimpleMods are your solutions; both have pro's and con's, but should be sufficient to get most populations under control . I am seeing a strange tick/crash issue (Running SimpleMods atm), but it could also be one of the extra mods we're running, too.....

EDIT - Also, the Server Admin Area is good place to find more info on managing a FTB server

I wish Bukkit was compatible with all mods , maybe in the up coming mod API xD
