So we all know there is a TON of mods.
Some of them is of course in the modpacks at FTB, some are not.

Anyone has any great mod they want to share due to its awesomeness?

I dont have anything special in my mind, just open for suggestions that could make Direwolf20s a bit more awesome

No one that has additional mods they feel that they have to share??

Like new nifty (yes, direwolf syndrome) functions or just decorations?

hey! there are a handful of WONDERFUL mods in BigDig pack, that I would love to see in FTB. since BigDig is using older software, and is proving to be an unstable server, I'm looking into getting the mods that I love, into FTB ultimate, one way or another, so I can enjoy them.
Mettalurgy 2 and it's child mods. EXTREMELY fun.
Treecapitator!
enchantment plus [might already have something similar for picking enchantments, but this one is a great one]
Magical crops [who wouldn't want to be able to GROW coal, and iron, to GROW exp on plants?! fuckin win!!
Dungeon pack [really adds a lot to exploration of maps.]
logistics pipes. srsly, look this stuff up on youtube. omg talk about high tech!
chococraft is fun
monster spawn highlighter
Natura seems to add additional trees, like GIGANTIC redwoods.

basically these are the reasons I didn't go with FTB, but went with BigDig.

I would LOVE to see a more stable modpack than bigdig have this. from what I understand, BigDig is using out dated forge versions, and is unstable as a result.

Mettalurgy 2 and it's child mods. EXTREMELY fun. -- No will never happen Slow has repeatedly stated this.
Treecapitator! -- Again never going to happen according to Slow
enchantment plus [might already have something similar for picking enchantments, but this one is a great one] -- Highly doubt it
Magical crops [who wouldn't want to be able to GROW coal, and iron, to GROW exp on plants?! fuckin win!! -- Again with the already said no
Dungeon pack [really adds a lot to exploration of maps.] -- Suggest it on the mods suggestion thread it'll get looked at.
logistics pipes. srsly, look this stuff up on youtube. omg talk about high tech! -- Applied Energistics does this already
chococraft is fun -- Suggest it on mods suggestion thread
monster spawn highlighter -- NEI does this press F7
Natura seems to add additional trees, like GIGANTIC redwoods. --Being looked at

Just saw this and figured since I had some spare time I'd put some answers in. If you have mods you want to see in FTB try the Suggest Mods thread.

BackTools
Reis Minimap (Voxel replacement)
Optifine

Some other great mods that I don't to FTB since I play on a server:
Better Dungeons

I've recently added to the DW20 pack WildCaves mod and Ruins by AtomicStryker mod.

Both are just world gen mods, WildCaves just makes the underground a bit more interesting, and once I accidently killed myself by impaling myself on a stalagmite.
Ruins adds structures to world gen, highly configurable. Nice wandering around seeing old ruins, random single buildings, and occasional "dungeons". I personally removed some of the things it can generate, and reduced the chance as default settings can tend to generate lots and lots of ruins. Also, if you find a ruin/structure that has sand/gravel in it's build, be very very careful. It's most likely a trap...

Dimensional Doors does a lot of things pretty well -- pocket dimensions to set up a hidden spot, doorways linking far off areas, small extra-dimensional dungeons to explore, a useful if tricky-to-use weapon. It's incomplete, so limbo and dungeon dimensions aren't really as dangerous as they should be, but it's quite a fun mod. Personal dimensions are much better than trying to set up players with their own Mystcraft age just for a small house worth, even if it does have limits that Mystcraft doesn't (no beds, no sun, no minerals, 3x3 chunk cube).

Millenaire is one of those mods that shouldn't be part of a mod pack (and the authors won't give permission even if you wanted it anyway), but it's a very interesting variant that drastically tips the way you play Minecraft without the large systems-scale focuses of things like Thaumcraft or IC2. Very big mod, makes things a lot less empty and a lot more alive. Somewhat tricky to add to a modpack, due to dumb ID conflicts (Buildcraft?).

Ars Magica is... complicated. I really, really don't recommend any of the versions for Minecraft 1.4.7, since they alternate between buggy and feature-broken, but the current release for 1.5.2 is very robust. And it adds a lot of great things, starting with a good magic system and working up to mini-dungeons, a power distribution system, exploration rewards, so on and so forth. A lot of beautiful art and good worldgen design when it works right. It's disruptive, though, with wizard's towers and dungeons and creature spawns everywhere that are all hard to beat without using the Ars Magica systems. Like Millenaire, it also has ID conflicts that it /really shouldn't/, complicating install (what is it with these folk and Buildcraft?), and tends to be finicky about being added to a modpack. The magic fabricator also isn't that powerful in most situations -- especially contrasted to mob grinders or EE3 --- but it can screw up balance with other mods.

Chococraft's got some dependencies on DrZhark's custom creature spawner stuff, and last I heard he's not very quick to give permission for modpack use.

Extra Utilities! It adds a whole bunch of awesome decorative blocks, along with Transfer Nodes (lag-free pipes), a couple mildly explosive tools, blocks that can be placed in mid-air, a fast way to get obsidian, and - what sold it to me - SOUND MUFFLERS!
