Adding mods to packs for idiots

Ok so I admit that I'm a complete noob at adding mods to packs, it has never worked for me and has always left me frustrated. I know it's meant to be as simple as putting the file in a folder and pressing 'add mod' in the launcher but it never works. So, I'm hoping someone can walk me through it, step through step, starting from where to get the right mod download (to be specific I'm trying to add rotarycraft to tppi). I'm on a mac if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance

Indeed. Youtube seems to draw a huge crowd of people either making guides with no real content, direction or thought behind it, or be peoples dreary 30+mins long LPs exploiting naming the video like a guide/spotlight/etc., to get views...

Nothing beats the good old written guide.

For adding Rotary Craft, I suggest actually installing Monster, and grabbing it and Dragon API from there. The versions might be out of date, but they should work with the version of forge from the launcher. Unless TPPI is from a different MC version. Then manual is the only way.

v25z runs on the same Forge version as what's on the launcher. It also contains several important fixes to bugs and exploits that are in the version included in Monster. Overall, it's a better idea to grab that instead of using the outdated one.

Sorry, that was too clear, you need to somehow make the text represent a high pitch voice or heavy accent or some kid on a suger rush or just very quiet. Plus, add in random shouts/yells.
oh, also, you were too quick to the point, at least 5 minutes have to pass (a paragraph), before anything relating at all to the mod is mentioned.

And you need to add a live video of the kid sitting in their room recording the video down in one corner for some god knows reason :p

I know its really bad, but it is ingrown human nature to instantly judge people. As soon as I see that "self shot" of a young kid sitting there acting all serious, I simply cannot focus on what is being said, despite how informative it might be :p

The ones I absolutely cannot watch are the videos taken with a cellphone pointed at the computer monitor using the phone's built-in mic for audio. The only thing worse is when they're playing the game in question on a second cellphone or even a tablet.

Do not encourage people to use old versions.
